Perlimen / Privacy boundary
Private access metadata is visible to the server.
Current release / explicit limit
Data boundary
- Server-visible now
- access status, organizer and DJ actions, account IDs and audit records
- Not available now
- encrypted exact-location storage and reveal
- Future privacy work
- client-side encryption, recipient keys and controlled location reveal
Guestlist access works in this release, but encrypted exact-location reveal does not. Perlimen does not claim that exact secret addresses are protected by a feature that has not shipped.
Organizers and authorized staff can manage guestlists and door check-in.
The server processes access status, organizer actions, account identifiers and audit records.
Encrypted exact-location storage and reveal remain future security work.
Do not treat access metadata as end-to-end encrypted.
